Scoop is no stranger to moving. He grew up a military kid constantly moving all over the U.S. as well as overseas. After graduating from the University of Tennessee where he studied Sports Management & Business while playing Rugby, he moved to Hawaii to pursue his Master’s in Kinesiology at UH Manoa. Simultaneously, he worked in the UH Athletics Department as a Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant. Upon graduating, he began teaching yoga in 2012, and his teachings have enabled him to travel internationally to Asia, Europe and South America.
The transition to real estate was very natural for Scoop. Repeatedly moving for the first 25 years of his life, Scoop understands the emotions of leaving a home you love and the uncertainty of relocating to somewhere new. His experience of being an entrepreneurial yoga teacher has taught him creativite marketing, strong negotiation skills and how to nimbly and effectively adapt in a constantly shifting market. His #1 focus is to create a smooth, enjoyable experience for his clients, while helping them find that perfect place that feels like home.
Scoop’s love for the ocean and personal connection has led him to volunteer with various organizations on Oahu including Access Surf, Maouli Ola and Big Brother/Big Sisters, where he is an active member since 2007 and remains close to his Little by teaching him about real estate investing and finance.
